Happy Christmas.....

We've made it. we've been here for about a week so far. We arrived mid day. After we got to our friend Owen's flat, we settled in and then went and saw a music group that we like, that just happen to be having a show around the corner. We spent the next few days wandering around London and getting ourselves Reaquanted with it.

We had nice turkey dinner. Tomorrow we are going off to a futbol game. Should be alot of fun.

We're outta here. headed to the airport to head to england. Next post will be from the UK!

1st post....

So, I am on other blog sites for various different interest hobbies etc. Figured that since i have been on this one for awhile that i should actually update it.

Not much has been happening. I was in california for three weeks working on the wildfires. I was only about 20 minutes from disneyland but was so busy that i did not make it there...

Mom and Dad are going to be town on the 17th flying to see Janeen so looking forward to seeing them before thier off. We are headed to England from December 19th untill January 5th. mostly london and southeast coast and Paris for a couple of days. I am really looking forward to that...

Last nite we sat down and planned out some more vacation...looks like Vegas for a softball tournament end of janaury, Puerto Vallarta in March just before my birthday and then London and Glasgow in April.

So far december is turning out to be a busy month. We started a full kitchen remodel.

This is basically what the kitche looked like. There used to be a cabinet above the blue flashlight that cut the kitchen off from the breakfast nook, which is where the picture is being taken...it was really annoying..

We took out the false ceiling that had been added to put in the florescant lighting. We are raising the ceiling back up to it's original height. We are moving the cabinets to back along the wall and they will all be new. We are adding one main light in the kitchen instead of three flourescant lights, with under cabinet lighting. We are getting all new appliances with a double stand alone oven. Instead of the microwave/oven hood we are just going to have a nice stainless steel hood. Overall we are not losing any countertop space. and just reordering all our cabinet space.

And this is Tess. she is one of our Rottweiler/Spaniel mix dogs she is just over three years old now.

And this is Tank. Tess is his littermate and he is our second Dog. He weighs 130 pounds but is currently on a diet.

We do have a cat but don't have any pictures of her at the moment...

Thats all i can think of for now. I will post more pictures of the kitchen possibly later today. Rite now the electrician and our handyman are down there working so not a good time to take pictures.
